Our client, leading pan-European provider of information and communication services, is currently looking for a Senior Legal Advisor and Legal Advisor.

Position

• Providing excellent quality legal support to the client's Enterprise Services Division
• Providing direct transactional support to internal customers on sales transactions in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and other European jurisdictions
• Ensuring that legal risk is minimised and assets are protected
• Adhering to best practice, both legally and commercially and taking a leading role to ensure group compliance with company policies
• Establishing good working relationships with internal customers to promote openness and trust

Profil

• Highly Commercial lawyer
• Significant experience in IT sales/managed services contract or corporate/project
• Knowledge of telecommunications, regulatory, data protection, TUPE and IPR matters
• Previous experience in drafting and negotiating pricing provisions
• Previous experience in dealing with pre-litigation matters
• PQE relevant to the seniority of each position, with private practice or in-house experience
• German professional legal qualification (holds a practicing certificate)
• Strong academic background, legal knowledge and drafting skills
• Ability to lead medium to large corporate or managed services transactions independently or with a supporting team whilst working within policies and keeping relevant people updated
• Ability to manage competing priorities and a varied workload, including when working on cross-border transactions
• Having an awareness of the impacts of operational and contractual issues on a deal pricing
• Ability to plan and manage time effectively
• Being a team player and flexible to get the work done
• Having excellent people skills and a commercial acumen
• Ability to deliver difficult messages in a positive way
• Capability of supporting and guiding colleagues
• Ability and willingness to travel
• Good planning, organisation and communication skills
• Being creative, innovative and customer-focused
• Fluent in English and German and able to draft and negotiate contracts in both languages
• Any other additional European language (e.g. French, Italian, Spanish, Dutch) is an asset
