As a successor of a well respected employee in the field of SAP Inhouse Consulting who is going to retire we are looking for a well experienced SAP Systems Analyst PP/PI - QM (m/f).
Your main role will be to provide support, troubleshooting and maintenance to assure operational availability for our client''s SAP systems, in particular the Production Planning (Process Industry) and Quality Management modules.
Our client is based in Hamburg, Germany but you can also fulfil this role from a Home-Office based in UK or Germany.
Position
- This role requires the provision of first class software support to business users, analysing, determining and solving business issues.
- This ranges from dealing with simple questions to more complex issues.
- Acting as a key focal point with external vendors, problem solving and interacting with other program users.
- Monitoring systems performance and taking appropriate action to maintain its activity, accuracy and efficiency.
- Design and implement new solutions and enhancements in line with legal, end-user and/or application requirements.
- Forward thinking and pro-actively identify opportunities for improvement in business processes, specifically PP/PI and QM modules.
- Study, evaluate and give recommendations to related software components and solutions.
- Identify and implement access controls in line with organisational policies and requirements of the application.
- Be Involved in global and local project team meetings, predominantly in global SAP implementation projects
- Assist and provide end-user training and documentation
Profil
We are looking for the following candidate profile
- Has already obtained a Bachelor''s degree in computer science or a related field and 5 years experience in SAP configuration and design, with a strong emphasis in Production Planning and Quality Management (PP/PI & QM).
- Proven knowledge of integration points with other SAP modules in use by our client (SD/LE, MM, WM, PM, FI/CO)
- Previous experience in supporting key production processes in a manufacturing environment, namely Production Planning, MRP/ MPS, Production Execution, BOM/Master recipes, Demand-/Forecasting and Product costing, as well as the Quality Management processes, Inspection Planning, Inspection lot processing and Results recording.
- Experience with project management methodology in the delivery of key business functionality and enhancements.
- Withhold the ability to interact globally with technical and non-technical stakeholders to accomplish shared goals.
- Have the ability to tackle tasks and projects head on with full responsibility.
- Able to work both in a global / local team environment as well as independently at client side or remotely from home
- Existing experience working in an international team
- Good knowledge of databases and organisation systems
- Must have fluent English verbal and written communication skills
- German language skills are not required, however a bonus of obtained.
Our client is currently operating on a SAP 4.7 platform and is due to migrate to ECC 6.0 in 2013
